Excellent program!
I've just got two issues, and I'd be glad if anyone here could help me out with both of them.
- Dots "." in folder names lead to a somewhat truncated result.
Here's an initial full folder name, say, with as much as 10 files in it:
"Poulenc - Piano Concert, Sinfonietta etc. - 2 CDs - Pommier, Hickox, City of London Sinfonia - 1996 - MP3"
Everything single filename is moved or copied in its integrity, yet the folder name is truncated to:
"Poulenc - Piano Concert, Sinfonietta etc"
Thus, the folder name stops right there where the dot "." appears.
- Long file names or, better, long folder paths lead, again, to truncated folder names:
It's the Windows path limit. No problem when your files are stationary, but when they are copied or moved, it becomes irksome, especially if there is one or even two subfolders.
I tried to revert to Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier, and it does its work flawlessly (really, no path is too long). However, its Batch modus is not as handy as the initiating some rules in Belvedere...
