Belvedere doesn't work at startup unless...

I have Belvedere setup to run at startup, but it doesn't work properly unless I am running the program as Administrator.
I can do the following:

1. Run the application
2. View the rules I have created
3. View the folders I have created

What I cannot do is:

1. Edit the rules
2. Disable them

Could you help me?

Belvedere needs to be able to write the rules.ini file in the program's directory to edit rules and disable them. Can you see if you have permissions to make changes to this file?

I do have permissions to edit this file, but it seems that recursive option is taking way too long.

It sounds like 2 different items: not being able to change rules and recursive taking too long. Let's break it into two:

1 - For the not being able to change rules, can you right-click Belvedere and 'Run as Administrator' just to see if that corrects the issue.

2 - For the recursive, how deep are the directories, and how many files are in there?

1 - As I think I stated earlier, the feature works when I run as Admin.
2 - Recursion has been tried on Desktop folder, as well as my Downloads folder.
Suggestion: Do you think that you could add a feature that allows you to choose the depth of the recursion. Take a look at DirectoryList & Print to see what I mean.
