Project Description
This fully autonomous system detects fires in real-time using AI
and thermal imaging, then deploys a robotic arm-mounted fire
extinguisher to precisely target and suppress flames at the
source .minimizing damage within seconds, without any human
intervention
Inspiration behind the Project
India faces significant challenges in fire safety due to a lack
of resources, including inadequate equipment, insufficient personnel, and noncompliance with safety regulations
According to data from the Accidental Deaths and
Suicides in India (ADSI) report, an average of 35 fire-related deaths occurred daily
between 2016 and 2020.
AI-driven fire extinguishers can detect, target,
and suppress fires instantly,and can save
many life daily with no human involvement
