If you accidently select JPG when creating an ASCII file, and then change it to ASCII, the file is corrupted and can not be opened

Once it is downloaded it can not be opened.  It seems that the user-file-name is not populated correctly.  This is only an issue if the message is compressed, but given we compress even the shortest messages, this is a major bug.
