[Bug] Screen turns off while caffeinate timer is active

Description

I've granted Caffeinate all necessary permissions (battery + background optimization, notiflications and draw over other apps) but if the app isn't in foreground screen still turns off.

Steps to Reproduce

Provide steps to reproduce the issue, including any specific settings or configurations.

1. Launch the app
2. Activate wakeclock (e.g. 5min)
3. Click home.
4. Observe the issue (screen turning off after 1 minute)

Expected Behavior

Screen is on for 5 minutes.

• Device Model: Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 4G
• Rooted or Non-Rooted: Non-Rooted
• Screen Orientation: Portrait

that is strange! chinese OEM OSs always have quirky implementations. did you try enabling Enable Overlay? this issue happens also with Samsung devices, but enabling the option fixes the issue.

It's been few months since I used your app, and there seem to be even more issues now. I installed it, and tried to give it all necessary permissions, but the app does not detect already granted background optimization, and clicking on Draw on Other Apps Permission does nothing (no dialog pop up). I also gave it Open new windows while running in the background permission, but the issue persist.

Note:
Other caffeinate apps also don't work on HyperOS 2, except one that has "alternate mode" that just temporarily increases system screen timeout. (Also: I rooted my phone, but I still running stock HyperOS, now version 2.0.207.0)

If it can help you, I can provide logcat, for example via adb shell logcat | grep -iE 'crash|com.hifnawy.caffeinate'.
