Attachments are corrupt with HttpSocket

Whenever I send an attachment it comes through as only a few bytes in size and is corrupt.

If I revert to before the HttpSocket change and use curl instead it works.

What is the solution to the attachment issue when using HttpSocket? I need to use that only for my solution (not curl). Any help is appreciated.

Try with file_get_contents
$params['files[' . $key . ']'] = file_get_contents($value['file']);// '@' . $value['file'];
