Description
Sometimes live stream titles will duplicate, for example:
LIVESTREAM TITLE HERELIVESTREAM TITLE HERE
There is no consistent reason I've found as to this, thus I cannot provide any evidence of this occuring, though I've seen this happen across numerous streamers and several times. Primarily Doggie or Zoink that I've seen this from.
Steps to Reproduce (if you noticed a specific pattern)
- Go to a live stream
- Wait (Though I think it's bound to trigger after a title updates?)
- Stream title duplicates (though sometimes I've seen it fix itself)
Environment
- Browser: Firefox 148
- Extension Version: 2.21.1
- OS: Arch Linux (Linux 6.19.6-arch1-1)
- YouTube Language: English
- YouTube Account: Logged In
Example Video (Required if the issue happened on a video page)
Unfortunately, there's no consistent way to trigger this.
Extension Settings
Screenshots (Optional)
Additional Context (Optional)
This applies whether a title is in the same language or not as far as I'm aware.
⚠️ If your issue is related to video titles, please also provide the HTML of the title element and its children.
To do this:
- Right-click on the title or its link in the YouTube page.
- Click "Inspect".
- In the Elements panel, right-click on the relevant (the one that contain the element).
- Select "Copy" > "Copy outer HTML".
- Paste the result here.
--> Again, I literally can't replicate this reliably. I'll provide it if I catch it happening again.
