Instagram Automation Tool - Dependencies and Installation Summary

Modifications Made

1. Modified check_dependencies.py:

   • Removed user input requirement when creating a mock implementation of agency-swarm
   • Added automatic installation of the mock implementation
   • This ensures the dependency check process is fully automated

2. Enhanced create_mock_agency_swarm.py:

   • Added better error handling
   • Improved logging and verbose output
   • Made the script more robust against potential errors

3. Created test_import.py:

   • Added a script to verify if all required dependencies are installed
   • Tests both essential packages and the agency-swarm mock implementation
   • Provides clear output about which packages are missing

Current State of Dependencies

The project requires the following dependencies:

Essential Packages (from requirements-minimal.txt):

• requests (>=2.28.0)
• python-dotenv (>=1.0.0)
• pydantic (>=2.0.0)
• selenium (>=4.10.0)
• webdriver-manager (>=4.0.0)
• tqdm (>=4.65.0)
• colorama (>=0.4.6)

Additional Dependency:

• agency-swarm (mock implementation created by create_mock_agency_swarm.py)

Installation Process

The installation process has been fully automated:

1. Run check_dependencies.py to check for missing dependencies

   • It will automatically install missing essential packages
   • It will automatically create and install a mock implementation of agency-swarm if needed

2. Alternatively, you can:

   • Install essential packages with: pip install -r requirements-minimal.txt
   • Create mock agency-swarm with: python create_mock_agency_swarm.py

3. Verify installation with: python test_import.py

Next Steps

1. After installing dependencies, you can run the Instagram automation tool
2. If you encounter any issues with dependencies, run check_dependencies.py again
3. For more detailed testing, use test_import.py to verify specific package imports
