In which version of Spotify does the module block ads? I tested the module on Spotify 9.1.64.1676 and the ads between songs are not blocked.

The version I used to develop it is 9.1.60.1970 so yours should work too, but I recently found out that some people had some sort of server-side ads which made the plugin not work, it is only intended to tamper with the internet connection to domains serving ads.
From the various feedback I got from testers there are 3 different cases :

• either it works
• either only spotify ads show up (to promote their subscription)
• either both types of ads work (third-party ads as well)

Could you make sure that the plugin is correctly enabled perhaps ?

The ads are still appearing. I tried the module after updating and the ad appeared. I restarted my phone and used Spotify again and the ad appeared again.

Ok the logs allowed me to see that the method named has been changed to "b" (common obfuscation technique) so I modified LSpot in bddef15 to not rely on the function name anymore. If you don't have server-side ads it should properly block them

No the app crashed again. Made revisions, I'm going to make yet another release

ah yes forgot to change the file names but i uploaded the correct version. This time the logs show no error, so maybe force quit spotify from the settings but other than that I'm afraid I can't do much more about it
