Smart Shelf Inventory Monitoring System

Overview

The Smart Shelf Inventory Monitoring System uses UHF RFID technology to identify and track multiple products on a shelf in real time. It maintains a live inventory count per product, alerts users when stock falls below a set threshold, and allows on-demand inventory status checks.

Problem Statement

Out-of-stock situations are a major challenge in retail, leading to lost sales and customer dissatisfaction. Smart shelves address this by continuously monitoring inventory levels and alerting store operators when stock is running low or items are misplaced. The system also supports environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity) to protect sensitive goods and improve operational efficiency.
