For the first seconds, when the subtitle feature was started but nothing was transcripted yet, the users had difficulties figuring out what the grey text box is used for. This led to confusion amongst the users.
I thought of implementing a modal dialog, that in grey text colour tells us to start a conversation to have subtitles for the conversation partner right in the textbox. As soon as the conversation has started and the first sentence is transcribed, the instruction is replaced by the transcribed words in white color.
