Currently if i'm adjusting the time it took to do something it's leaving a gap. I have to manually click a lot of stuff to fill in that gap.

I'd like to be able to in some way similar to the merge concept, backfill or forward fill from an existing task/project in the overview panel. It would increase the time of the associated project/task to fit the missing timeframe.
Describe alternatives you've considered
manually editing task and manually adding the new one then merging but both require too many clicks.
