Possible to support custom icons

Love the picker, but the icon doesn't really fit in well with the aesthetic I am after with my icons. It would be cool if you could support the overlay on top of custom icons, or include a couple options, eg:

Would also be cool if it could revert to the icon after a time, perhaps configurable?

As far as I know, there is no easy way to select custom icons for the plugin.

I could make a custom version with your custom icon.
