[TEST] GrantFox platform smoke test #4 — application & assignment flow

⚠️ THIS IS A TEST ISSUE — DO NOT WORK ON IT.
It exists only to exercise the GrantFox platform (application/assignment flow). It is not part of any campaign, carries no reward, and will be closed once testing is done. Please ignore it. Any application submitted here will be discarded.

PURPOSE

Verify the contributor application → maintainer assignment → unassignment cycle end-to-end, without touching a real rewarded issue.

WHAT IS BEING TESTED

• A contributor application on this issue is visible to the maintainer (applications_count, application status).
• Assigning a contributor mirrors the assignee onto the GitHub issue.
• Unassigning removes it on both sides.
• has_assignees reflects the current state in grantfox_list_issues.

EXPECTED RESULT

Assignment and unassignment stay in sync between GrantFox and GitHub, and application state transitions are visible to the maintainer.
