It might be helpful everywhere to (1) name things better, and (2) give students more instructions about how to name their own things. It's done in many places, but could be done more places. For example, in Ch 11, it might be somewhat obvious that p_{female} should be changed by the student in the "Your turn" section. But changed to what? p_{presence} or p_{ulcer} or something else? (Or does it really not matter that much?) In that same chapter, the infer test object is called Melanoma_test, but that is too vague since it doesn't address the more specific sex question in the example or the ulcerated tumor question in "Your turn".
