Description
Recently, my friend (running Windows 11) and I (running Linux—specifically Cachy OS) tried to play a game together online. At first, it wasn't working for my friend, and he couldn't join the session; then, after we had progressed through a small section of a mission, the game simply crashed on my end. No amount of tweaking compatibility settings or trying other workarounds helped me get back into the game. Notably, the crash occurs specifically when the game attempts to load a level. Could the issue be related to drivers? I honestly just don't know how to fix this.
Reproduction steps
I simply launch the game and try to connect to a player in Chapter 2, Level 1—but then everything crashes right at the moment of connecting to the server.
Additionally, to establish the connection, my friend specified the following settings: sv_consistency 0 and cl_downloadfilter none.
