Kikpad and last iamForce Version experience.

Here's my exprience with KIKPAD and IAMFORCE last version

• To activate KIKPAD with iamForce, I added this args inside:/media/TKGL_BOOTSTRAP/tkgl_bootstrap_[ProjectData]/modules/mod_iamforce/tkgl_mod_iamforce.sh
  # mpcmapper command line arguments
  TKGL_ARGV="--tkgl_iamForce --tkgl_configfile=$MPCMAPPER_CONFIG_FILE --tkgl_ctrlname=KIKPAD"
• I Flashed the Kikpad with FORCE mod binary. All columns are light on with different colors
• I turned on the MPC with iamForce usb key
• After booting, on the KIKPAD, the 2 first rows light off and only pad row1/column2 activate the right Force cell, others don't. The left Blue column does nothing, The right red button crash iamForce and pots are not working
• AFter I flashed KIKPAD with MPC mod Binary, the left lower 8x8 matrix is red, Right lower are START/STOP/REC button Right Upper
• The 8x8 red matrix on KIKPAD select the right 8x8 upper left cells of the project but the pads light on/off process do'nt follow the project cells activation (on Kipad Row5/Col1 = Row1/Col1 on MPC)
• REC/START/STOP does the job well (2 lighted pads just above the REC/STOP/START buttons switch from Launch mode to Note mode but not the other way around)
• Four first Pots are working but are not reactive with acceleration when turning faster

The MPC MOD bin on KIKPAD sound most interresting than FORCE mod bin, but i think some work on mapping need to be done.
Is there any mapping conf file for KIKPAD i can adjust to this issue ?

Forget the tkgl_mpcmapper for the moment. I'm just starting external contrôleur implementation.
Try instead the previous "iamforce.so".

Hi,
I replace tkgl_iamforcectrl.so (only file with his name) from link above to /media/TKGL_BOOTSTRAP/tkgl_bootstrap_[ProjectData]/lib/ folder, but same issue.

I'm trying setup inside /media/TKGL_BOOTSTRAP/tkgl_bootstrap_[ProjectData]/modules/mod_iamforce/tkgl_mod_iamforce.sh

#LD_PRELOAD=$CHROOT_BOOTSTRAP/lib/tkgl_mpcmapper.so exec /usr/bin/MPC $ARGV $TKGL_ARGV > $CHROOT_BOOTSTRAP/logs/iamforce.log
LD_PRELOAD=$CHROOT_BOOTSTRAP/lib/tkgl_iamforcectrl.so exec /usr/bin/MPC $ARGV $TKGL_ARGV > $CHROOT_BOOTSTRAP/logs/iamforce.log
No success @ all with old and new .so file , iamForce won't start and back to MPC soft.

OK. Forget the old version.
I'm about to terminate the Launchpad MK3 integration in the mpcmapper library.
And, I just uploaded a new module for the Smartpad, emulating pads and leds of the Launchpad Mini...
So Upload this firmware to the Smartpad, and wait for the last mpcmapper publication.

Sorry to boring you but any chance to have IAMFORCE 8x8 matrix with Kikpad or Launchpad working a day ?
Now I'm mainly work with the iamForce mode, and matrix is now very required.

Hi. The last version works with Launchpad and Launchpad emulation firmware for Kikpad.
I'm quite busy since March with my true job....:-)

Salut TheKikgen,
Sorry, but i don't understood if IAMFORCE works with a KikPad ? If you have some time, can you MP in French what going on with my config, where i'am wrong.
