Hi, when running make inside ~/.julia/environments/nvim-lspconfig after copying the file I get the following output:

makefile:124: *** missing 'endif'.  Stop.

It's been a while since you posted this, but I also had the same problem... the correct version is found at https://github.com/fredrikekre/.dotfiles/blob/master/.julia/environments/nvim-lspconfig/Makefile (found this at the top of the makefile!)

It actually still didn't work right away. I'm running Julia 1.11.6 and julials would exit immediately after opening the example.jl file. Turns out you need to add a few more packages (done when initially setting up the virtual environment):

julia --project=~/.julia/environments/nvim-lspconfig -e 'using Pkg; Pkg.add("LanguageServer"); Pkg.add("SymbolServer"); Pkg.add("StaticLint")'

The system image compilation still crashes, but this is enough for the LSP to work (albeit slowly). I'll try and see if I can get the sysimage to compile.

With the introduction of neovim 0.11.0 vim.lsp.config, now I think one has to write

        vim.lsp.config["julials"] = {
            capabilities = capabilities,
            on_new_config = function(new_config, _)
                local julia = vim.fn.expand("~/.julia/environments/nvim-lspconfig/bin/julia")
                if require('lspconfig').util.path.is_file(julia) then
                    new_config.cmd[1] = julia
                end
            end
        }

Instead of

require'lspconfig'.julials.setup{
on_new_config = function(new_config, _)
local julia = vim.fn.expand("~/.julia/environments/nvim-lspconfig/bin/julia")
if require'lspconfig'.util.path.is_file(julia) then
vim.notify("Hello!")
new_config.cmd[1] = julia
end
end
}

at least if one is using mason. Otherwise the lsp will get set up twice, the first time without the appropriate config changes.
