Monster presets won't load

Per the title, the monster presets for the statblock generator won't load. In their place it says "Unable to load monster presets." Tried on different browsers but it seems to be an issue linking to whatever database used to populate it.

It's related to the API connector that Statblock uses to pull data from the Open5e database. Basically all Open5e API connectors need to use the v1 legacy version (https://api.open5e.com/v1/) or the v2 maintained version (https://api.open5e.com/v2/) of the database. Tetracube's Statblock still uses the https://api.open5e.com/ connector which no longer works and therefore returns a 404 error.

Ultimately this needs to be fixed by whoever maintains Statblock on the server side, but it's possible to create a local workaround by using Tampermonkey to have a script call the right connector instead.

I made a quick and dirty userscript that can be loaded/pasted into Tampermonkey. Make sure to reload the Statblock page once you have saved the userscript, and the monster preset dropdown should now work as intended.

Unfortunately I have no idea how to do any of that. This was the only place I could find to point out the issue :/

Don't know if you still watch this thread, but there is an extension for chrome/firefox called tampermonkey. it runs custom scripts on certain webpages, basically. what you want to do is download an extention and paste that code into the "create a new script" window! hope this helps.
