Request for Improvement: Preview on Edit Assembly page

I believe Assembly is a very important part of SL. Currently, there is no way to generate PDF and print BOM list. The only way to get a PDF is to create a bogus Sales Order for that assembly and get a Preview. But, as soon as I create the Sales Order, assembly is locked which is logical. Then, if I want to edit assembly further, I need to delete the connected Sales Order.

I would love to see Preview button on Edit Assembly page. We can create a template to work in connection with Preview button on Edit Assembly page.

If you haven't done this yet, please don't.

Because, I have just discovered that there is a check box Individual items in Assembly report page. If I select it, it gives us a list of BOM. So, no need for another Preview button on Assembly page. Sorry for any inconvenience I created.

But, there is a problem with the Preview in assembly page. The list shows quantities in stock, not the quantity in the assembly. There is no much point in showing just the total stock on hand in an assembly page. This info is good as long as the quantity used in the assembly is already given.
