Gun image reversed or pointing in the wrong direction

Hi,
I noticed a weird bug with the in-game hand (whatever the gun) : the flat image randomly gets flipped in a random direction, either reversed or turned upside down. The gun then becomes unusable. I'm generally able to get it in the right position after spending up to 20 seconds moving my hand in the air, and looking away then coming back. I wan't able to find a definite solution though.
It keeps coming back, so much so that the game is unplayable.

Are you sure you are not slightly pushing the grip on the left controller and therefore switch to two-handed mode? That's certainly what it sounds like

This is quite unusual, do you have this issue with vanilla or when using specific mods? Are you using the official questzdoom on sidequest or my build on GitHub?

Hi, I'm using Sidequest vanilla, no mod. Still haven't tried the "2-handed" hypothesis above. Will keep you posted. Will try and make a screenshot if it happens again. Thanks.

On a slightly related note, I wish you could flip the pistol sprite in doom 1 since it's left handed by default.
