So, normally, when a shit is sinking, whether because an enemy set fire to your blimp and its going down.
Or if you accidentally break a single wool block, leading to the block requirements failing, and the craft being sentenced to slowly fall down.
The request is that you can choose how the crafts blocks behave when sinking and hit the ground.
Currently the default behavior is often called "pancaking" which is where the crafts shape is distorted at blocks hit the ground, often flattening the shape oft he craft, and making it so you are often better off just mining it all up and starting over.
This feature request, is for there to be an option to control how the sinking blocks behave.
I suggest 3 options.
- Explosive, the sinking blocks behave maybe like the crafts explosion stuff dictates?
- The crafts blocks stop falling when the a block current and default behavior.
- Once a single sinking block from the craft hits something that would stop its sinking, the crafts entire set of sinking blocks all stop at the same time.
This will let me do things like have an airplane that blows up violently if it "sinks" into the ground.
As well as allowing me to make tiny little balloons that while slow, are safer than those nasty airplanes xD.
