Bolt12 is the new common interface to Bitcoin payments #8

Description

Proposing a talk of over 30 minutes that will describe the following content

One of the mistakes of Lightning's early days was exposing complexity to the user: managing channels, rebalancing, gossip propagation delays, and after that, the user was still not able to make the payments.

Now we are in the era of 'Payments just work' but only if you use Lightning as a common layer.

We are making the same mistake again. Services are still saying 'Powered by Spark', 'Powered by Ark', but in reality no one cares.

Imagine if you need to send a wire to the other side of the world, and you are worried about what protocol the other side speaks. The banking system would be a joke, and no one would use it to transact, like Bitcoin today. It's still too complicated and full of terms that people do not understand.

So, Bolt12 is a new term that can be the IBAN or account number equivalent of Bitcoin, but as bitcoiners, we do not understand it because it is too simple to explain
