Shortcut action "Boot Device" requires unknown deviceId (UUID not exposed in UI)

Hi! 👋 First of all, thank you for building Anywakey – it’s a clean and practical little app!

I noticed that the app integrates nicely with the Shortcuts app and exposes a Boot Device action. However, the action requires a deviceId parameter, which appears to be the internal UUID of the device.

The problem is:

This UUID is not visible anywhere in the app UI.

The user has no idea what to enter in the deviceId field.

Trying to enter a number, hostname, MAC address, or IP address all fails.

💡Feature request:
Please consider exposing the internal UUID (e.g., in the edit device screen or device details), or better, allow users to pick a device by name in the Shortcuts action, using @IntentChoice.

After our last conversation, I searched thoroughly for where the deviceId might be stored — and finally found it via the “Share Configuration File” feature in the app. 🎉
In that JSON file, I found this entry:

So I tried pasting this id (BC63F6A8-BA98-4AAD-B8B3-B36D8B4DC9D4) into the “Device ID” field in the Shortcuts action, and ran it.
Unfortunately, it didn’t work — even though this device boots fine when triggered directly from the Anywakey app.

Thanks for your work — seriously, I’ve tested every WOL app available on the App Store (yes… literally all of them 😅), and Anywakey is hands down the best one out there — clean UI, fast setup, great UX. 👏👏👏

The widget is indeed helpful for quick access, and I appreciate that!
But I believe that adding proper Shortcuts support would unlock a whole new level of flexibility and automation power:

Siri voice control (e.g., “Hey Siri, wake up my PC” 🗣️💻)

Time, location, NFC-based automations

Integration with other apps in Shortcuts workflows

Right now, the Shortcut action technically exists, but it's a bit limited — especially since users have to dig out and input the device’s UUID manually. For most users, this is a big barrier. 😢

So I’d love to suggest:
👉 Let users select a device by name instead of using a device ID
Just like how other WOL apps expose a list of saved devices in the Shortcut action. It would make the feature truly user-friendly and fun to use!

Honestly, Anywakey is already amazing — just this one improvement would make it perfect. 💯
