Terminal goes black on exit after opening any image

After opening ANY image in DOSVIEW, on exit the terminal stops displaying any output. The application appears to exit normally, but the console remains blank.
This appears to be caused by DOSVIEW leaving the console in a graphics/video mode after displaying an image, without restoring it on exit.

Workaround: after exiting, run: MODE 80 to restore the console.

DOSVIEW Version: 1.7
Terminal: FreeDOS 1.4
Platform: VirtualBox 7.0
Host OS: Windows 11 Home
Host Arch: x86_64

I need to check with VBox.

I did have a peek at the source and I noticed that I commented out the call to textmode(C80); and I remember doing that on purpose. Sadly I don't remember why...
