Description

Add social trading capabilities that allow users to follow and copy successful traders' strategies, creating a community-driven trading ecosystem.

Direction

1. Create trader profile and ranking system
2. Implement copy-trading functionality
3. Build performance leaderboards
4. Add social feed for trade announcements
5. Create trader subscription/payment system
6. Build risk controls for copy-traders

Definition of Done

• Users can follow top-performing traders
• Copy-trading automatically replicates master trades
• Leaderboards accurately rank traders by risk-adjusted returns
• Social feed shows recent trades from followed traders
• Copy-traders have risk limits to prevent excessive losses

Acceptance Criteria

• ✅ Copied trades execute within 1 second of master trade
• ✅ Leaderboards use Sortino ratio for fair ranking
• ✅ Users can set maximum daily loss limits for copy-trading
• ✅ Traders can choose to make their strategies private or public
• ✅ Performance fees are automatically distributed to master traders

copy-trading with <1s execution lag and risk controls unlocks a community-driven ecosystem where users follow and replicate top traders' strategies while keeping their own exposure bounded. It's a multi-layer build (trader rankings via Sortino ratio, atomic copy-trade execution, subscription/fee distribution, leaderboards) that directly drives engagement and retention.
