[Feature Request] Always Trust Enhancement

Add an option to completely suppress the file download warning modal. Discord already downloads the file immediately when clicked, even if the user never interacts with the warning, so the modal serves no functional purpose and only interrupts workflow

I get where you're coming from, but I'm still not totally sold on this. The security aspect is a big one for me. If we just kill the warning entirely, we’re basically letting potentially sketchy files land on a user's machine without them even realizing it, which feels like a bad habit to encourage.

Plus, I’m just not sure people actually need this that often. In my experience, that pop-up usually only triggers for stuff like ZIPs or executables. Most people aren't downloading those every five minutes, so it feels like a lot of work for a pretty niche problem. It’s also worth noting that big projects like Vencord or BetterDiscord haven't touched this either. There’s probably a good reason they decided the trade-offs weren't worth it.

Technically, it sounds like a nightmare, too. Since the button is literally just a span styled to look like one, the only way to make this work would be to listen for a Flux event whenever that button is tapped, wait a few milliseconds for the modal to start opening, then erase it while triggering the download from the original link. It’s going to be complex for no reason and will likely cause some really glitchy behavior since the modal will probably flash on screen before the "eraser" even kicks in. It just feels way too over-engineered for such a small payoff. Overall, it seems like a ton of effort for very little gain, but that’s just my take. Maybe @SpikeHD has a better perspective on it, sorry for the ping by the way.

always-trust, by nature, is removing a security aspect already. I'd argue this is valid but should be presented as an option that defaults to "off".

shelter actually allows for cancelling Flux events, so if this modal is triggerd by Flux it'd actually be quite trivial to implement by just cancelling the event

overall I agree this is a rarer use-case so I wouldn't put a lot of effort into it if it's required, but if its the matter of cancelling one event and presenting an option, I'd say its trivial enough to consider adding

The problem is that I've already tried to blocked the flux event that was triggered when opening the modal (two were triggered) but the modal still open anyway.

yea in that case I wouldn't really bother, I won't close this cuz it's valid enough and someone else is welcome to do it but I likely won't be looking too deep into it myself
