- Eclipse 2019-09R or later (Please select Eclipse Modelling tool to install)
- Download the latest Xtext plugin Instructions
- Clone or download the master branch of the repository
- Open Eclipse
- Before openning projects, set the encoding for both of your workspace and Xtend file types to
UTF-8. - Use
File>Open Projets from File System - Import each one of these five cloned directories into your Eclipse workspace (
ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo,ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo.ide,ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo.tests,ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo.ui,ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo.ui.tests) - In the
Package Explorerpanel, right click on theSymboleo.xtextfile underca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo\src\ca\uottawa\csmlab\symboleodirectory, then click onRun as>Generate Xtext Artifacts
- Wait for the process to finish, you should see the
Donemessage in the Eclipse console - Now click on the
Symboleo.xtextfile. SelectYesto convert the project to an Xtext project - For each of the five projects (
ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleo.*), find thesrc-gendirectory in thePackage Explorer
- Right click on the
src-genfolder, selectBuild path>Use as source folder - If you are still seeing errors in the
SymboleoGenerator.xtendfile. Copy the code from here and paste it in Eclipse in theSymboleoGenerator.xtendfile. This error is caused by the encoding setting of your Eclipse. - To start the Symboloe IDE right click on the
ca.uottawa.csmlab.symboleoproject in thePackage Explorer, then selectRun as>Eclipse aplication
- In the new opened Eclipse window create a new project then create a new file with
.symboleoextension. The generated Hyperledger Fabric code is inside thesrc-genfolder.
