Black box/Screen Upon Start Up

I downloaded 2.2.0 about a year ago and everything worked fine. However, I tried to open it up today and all that comes up is a black screen and nothing else. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both 2.2.0 and an older version a number of times and the same thing keeps happening. If anybody can give me a hand, it would be much appreicated, I haven't seen anybody else mention this issue .

I think I've seen people experience similar issues when leftover files from previous installations are still present. Try manually deleting all installation folders for the randomizer and try again.

So I tried deleting everything related to the randomizer I could find and it's still doing it. Would a previous randomized ROMs save data have any effect? Cause I can't see any other files relating to the randomizer that's on the computer

No, save data shouldn't have anything to do with it.
Maybe your anti-virus is messing with the program. Have you tried following these steps?
