Can’t run on Windows 7

I want to play maimai on a computer which runs Windows 7.I tried the program on Windows 10 and it runs perfectly.But as soon as I change to Windows 7 maimai runs just fine but maisense said that can’t locate GetPointerInfo in user32.dll.I looked up the source code and I have no idea how to fix it.So will you support Windows 7?

I think the because the binary is compiled using 10.0 as the target platform which use windows 10 API and break some API in older windows version like RegisterWindowTouch or any other API related to input.

To be honest I can't be sure since I'm no expert in Windows API or any thing related to c++ toolset / api in any operating system, but you might want to try recompile the program with Windows 7 as the target platform

Okay,I have tried to recompile it.But unfortunately it can't build on any sdk except windows 10(even windows 8.1).So I'm wondering if I can change some code and build it with windows 10 sdk and be compatible with windows 7.I'm now working on it :-D

Finally I delete 3 call of function to make it run on windows 7 which they are GetPointerInfo InjectTouchInput and InitializeTouchInjection.I don't know what do these functions do so i can't tell is the program work or not.

I believe it something related to touch emulation for mouse input, its actually unusable and i never figured out to make it work and should be safe to delete

For cleaner solution, I think you just need to delete MouseController class entirely, and make sure to delete initialization and controller registration inside dllmain

Okay,I have removed MouseController class and it works fine.But as soon as I remove the code below it can't work normally.

Ah I see now, this is the input code that mainly used to process touch event, I believe this is inside TouchController and of course you cannot remove it, I wasn't remember before that I use GetPointerType and GetPointerInfo before our conversation

This code is essential and you cant remove or change it, unless you found equivalent API. Did you try to recompile the project with Windows 7 as the target platform as I mentioned before? and also make sure to use windows 7 sdk in the process (I'm not sure how to do that tho)

After looking at GetPointerType and GetPointerInfo API Documentation, I don't think you will make it even compiling with windows 7 as the target platform.

It mentioned that minimum supported client is Windows 8. You probably need other API that equivalent (or at least similar) to make it work and of course it need to be compatible with Windows 7

After some search,I have found a function named GetTouchInputInfo which seems like can be replace these two functions and works on Windows 7.But change these functions need some hard work with changing a lot of code.
