the tutorials don't work

there seems to be a lot of changes since the tutorial is written, it doesn't work anymore.
the get_log_path() in chronicle doesn't exist, the tutorial_starts() doesn't exists or not callable and I assume it is the case for all other steps.

Thanks for reporting this let me investigate ; it was from another sub repo but I merged it into this repo.
