Main & Off-Hand Attributes not working

Describe the bug
Attributes are not read from the main hand (I think that's expected behaviour?) or the off-hand when enabled.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Enable lore attributes in the config
Place item with attributes in offhand slot and/or hotbar
Select the hotbar slot with the item in it

Expected behavior
Attributes should be applied to the player
