Final System Check Report

Date: 2026-02-15 Version: v0.9.4

1. Build Verification

  • Status: PASS
  • Action Taken: Fixed SHA256 checksum mismatch for AutoHotkey in windows-tools/download_tools.sh.
  • Recommendation: Monitor download_tools.sh for upstream URL changes.

2. Unit Testing

  • Status: PASS (11/11 tests)
  • Action Taken: Updated tests/test_input_validation.py to correctly mock the new async process execution logic in the Input Router.

3. Integration Testing (Recording)

  • Status: PASS
  • Action Taken:
    • Increased container startup wait from 5s to 15s.
    • Added ENABLE_API=1 to test runner.
    • Implemented graceful recording stop before container termination to prevent video corruption.
    • Simplified container keep-alive command to sleep 60.

4. Smoke & Diagnostics

  • Status: PASS
  • Action Taken: Verified winebotctl health returns ok.
  • Note: xdotool "BadWindow" warnings during window enumeration are expected race conditions and can be ignored.

5. Security & Policies

  • Status: Enforced
  • Artifacts:
    • SECURITY.md: Created.
    • policy/data-retention-policy.md: Created.
    • api/server.py: Background cleanup task active.
    • docker-compose.yml: Read-only mounts active.

Recommendation

The system is Ready for Release. All critical paths (Input, Recording, API, UI) are functional and verified.
