Support for resolvable linked data URIs

I'm currently working on a semantic portal using Sampo-UI and I'm exploring ways to make the Linked Data URIs used in the project both human and machine readable.

I've noticed that in other Sampo projects, URIs are redirected to a different domain that hosts the SAHA3 system. However, I'm wondering if it is possible to implement resolvable URIs directly within the Sampo-UI framework, and whether anyone has done something similar before.

Any guidance, examples, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated - and thanks again for the great work on the framework!

HI! Like you say, we have not used to Sampo-UI for resolving URIs, so we have not really thought about this. It would make sense though in many cases.

An example instance page url from the MMM portal might be https://mappingmanuscriptmigrations.org/en/manuscripts/page/bibale_10003/table

At the moment Sampo-UI generates three extra things on a instance page that I think would be bad for URI. A language tag "/en". An extra "/page" at the middle of the url. And the "/table" at the end. Without those this might be a nice URI.

However, the url without language tag is routed to the default language of the portal and the instance page will also automatically default to table here. So this will already resolve: https://mappingmanuscriptmigrations.org/manuscripts/page/bibale_10003

That would almost be a good URI. Only ugly thing for me is the "/page" in the middle. You might be willing to live with that, and I suspect that it would not be too difficult to remove the "/page" but you might need to rewrite some routing logic in src/client/containers/SemanticPortal.js.

We are in any case now in the process of updating the Sampo-UI so we will take a look at if we can easily add an option for Sampo-UI to be more URI friendly.
