The change: New discharge estimation algorithm.

Input

• No new external data needed
• Requires SWOT, SOS and SWORD (in the future)
• Upstream: Input, Prediagnostics

Output

• Reach-level NetCDF
• Can feed other FLPE algorithms
• Downstream: Validation, Output

Placement

• Alongside the FLPEs, or possibly at the stage before
• Add to the offline run repository

Open questions

• Does this also need to be integrated into MOI, Offline, Consensus and Postdiagnostics?
• Who would like to modify their module to use QQ output for v5? (May be better tackled in v6)

Tasks

• Modify to use the sos_read repository to download SOS files to local file system, https://github.com/SWOT-Confluence/sos_read - ensures consistency between modules
• Implement any further QQ dev changes, and review the output
• Create module Terraform: Batch job and log group @nikki-t
• Modify top-level Terraform: add to the AWS Step Function @nikki-t
• Add to run-confluence-locally to confirm end-to-end execution; track that variables populate in the intermediate and final Output results
• Complete an offline run to test changes and evaluate results
