App keeps crashing

Hello.

Ever since I updated the browser, it keeps crashing whenever I try to open it. I tried clearing the cache, clearing the data, even uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't work. It shows the page for a few seconds, and then immediately crashes. Every attempt to open it after will immediately cause it to crash.

It's crashing on my device (realme gt neo) as well. It won't even open

Hmm...
The devices I tested were:

Galaxy Z Fold7
Asus Zenfone 10
IIIF150 Air2 Ultra

Those three, and I didn’t have any issues at all with them.

I can’t figure out any more than this, so could someone please run the adb command and send me the crash log?

1. adb logcat -c
2. Launch Elixir, and CRASH.
3. adb logcat -d | grep -E “FATAL|crash|F libc|F DEBUG|elixir|chromium” > elixir_crash.log

I just uninstalled and installed again and that solved the crash. Thanks

The test version works! Now I just need for the tabs and tab switcher button to appear simultaneously on the tab bar and it'll be perfect.

It seems like a fixable issue, and I'm incredibly relieved. 🥵

I'll mention this in the release notes later to let everyone know that, "on some devices, you might need to reinstall the browser when updating."

i could have given you logs so that u could fix even when updating but i dont remember at that time i just thought of fresh install,

I do notice that there isn't an option to save passwords anymore. Is that due to this being a test version?

You need to use 3rd party password manager i guess.
