Table CSS love

Wish list for all tables in HTML reports:

• Tables with easy ability to copy to clipboard and download whole table, vs. individual rows as csv and/or JSON (e.g. like @MattReimer did with PBR Explorer)

• Ability to sort order of table by any column (A-Z, Z-A for categorical, Up to Down, Down to Up for numeric)
• Ability to filter what rows show in table by categorical columns)
• Where relevant, if projects are listed, list as their full citations, but add this little copy widget

Not saying that can't be done but that is WAY more than CSS love. It means adding a bunch of bespoke JavaScript code to a static webpage.

What it comes down to is that these reports have some constraints that we don't have when we write react apps.

The "copy to clipboard" function might be do-able if we can store a second copy of the data in the webpage itself but then I worry about ballooning report sizes since it all needs to be packed into the single html file. Reports with lots of tables could really bloat.

The table sorting I'm going to have to think about. We could write bespoke JavaScript to do it but there are all kinds of caveats with that. I suppose we could put in some sort of JavaScript library to do it but then I worry a bit about bundle sizes.

There's also concerns about how dependent we want a printable report to be on JavaScript and how all of this needs to work/look as a pdf. We need to make sure we turn it all off in a consistent way so the buttons don't render when the print happens.

I will talk to @weblorin. There may be a simpler way to accomplish it that I haven't thought of yet.

Cool @MattReimer. I am going to continue to not hold back on what we want, and let you all say what is easy, what is possible, but takes some time, and what will need to be shelved. Do the easy stuff for now, and leave the rest. Thanks.
