That'd be really helpful in so many cases. There are some icon packs I like to use and I add missing icons by hand with Global Icon Pack that is not possible at this moment.

You can use Alembicons (https://f-droid.org/packages/com.kaanelloed.iconeration/) to generate an icon pack with your custom icons, which you can then merge into your other icon pack.

There are workarounds for sure, however if that was something inside Global Icon Pack by default It could've been a lot better for user experience.

The issue here is that not all apps have permission to access pictures on your device. It is risky if I allow hooked apps to bypass system restrictions.

I think you should create an icon pack that packages all icons within the icon pack itself. This way, only resources from the icon pack can be accessed from hooked apps.
