Smart Cursor causes stutter when scrolling map with right mouse button on Intel 965GM / Mesa crocus

Description:
Return To The Roots 0.9.5 Flatpak on antiX Linux.

Problem:
With Smart Cursor enabled, scrolling the map by holding right mouse button is stuttering heavily.
Scrolling with keyboard arrow keys is smooth, also scrolling in the mini map is smooth.
If Smart Cursor is disabled in the game settings, right mouse button scrolling becomes smooth.

System:
antiX Linux
Xorg
Intel Mobile GM965/GL960
X driver: modesetting
Mesa driver: crocus
Renderer: Mesa Intel 965GM

Tested:

• Previously system used intel + uxa and llvmpipe; changed to modesetting/crocus, which fixed general performance.
• SDL_VIDEO_X11_FORCE_EGL does not fix the Smart Cursor stutter.
• SDL_HINT_MOUSE_RELATIVE_MODE_WARP=1 does not fix it.
• SDL_HINT_MOUSE_RELATIVE_MODE_CENTER=1 does not fix it.
• FPS limit 30 was tested / or: FPS limit 30 does not improve it.

Maybe we should use SDLs own relative mouse mode for map scrolling. We'd need to emulate that for WinAPI though.

However I remember that we made some fixes related to this. Have you tried the current nightly?

I tested the current nightly build on Linux: the issue is gone, everything runs perfectly now.

Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a nightly branch available via Flatpak, so I had to install the nightly manually.
