1. DEFINITIONS

   "Software" means the Accessibility Mod Manager application, including all
   source code, binaries, documentation, and associated files in this
   repository.

   "Security Mechanisms" means all code and functionality related to plugin
   registry signature verification, SHA256 package verification, zip-slip
   prevention, manifest action allowlisting, receipt tamper detection, plugin
   collision detection, HTTPS enforcement, and any other security or integrity
   checks present in the Software.

   "Plugin Content" means any mod packages, plugin repository indexes, game
   definitions, or other content authored and distributed by plugin authors
   through the Software's plugin system.

   "Official Distribution" means the Software as distributed by the copyright
   holders through official channels (GitHub releases, official website, or
   other channels designated by the copyright holders).

2. PERMITTED USES

   You may:

   a) View, read, and study the source code for personal, educational, or
      security auditing purposes.

   b) Submit contributions (pull requests, bug reports, patches) to the
      official repository, subject to the project's contribution guidelines.

   c) Build the Software from source for personal use, provided no
      modifications are made to Security Mechanisms.

   d) Create plugins and plugin content that integrate with the Software's
      plugin system as intended.

3. RESTRICTIONS

   You may NOT:

   a) Remove, disable, weaken, bypass, or modify any Security Mechanisms,
      whether in source or binary form.

   b) Distribute modified versions of the Software, in source or binary form,
      without prior written permission from the copyright holders.

   c) Distribute unmodified copies of the Software outside of linking to or
      directing users to the Official Distribution.

   d) Use the Software's source code, in whole or in part, to create a
      competing or derivative application.

   e) Use the Software to circumvent, bypass, or undermine protections that
      plugin authors have placed on their Plugin Content, including but not
      limited to access controls, distribution restrictions, or licensing
      terms.

   f) Redistribute, rehost, mirror, or repackage Plugin Content obtained
      through the Software without explicit permission from the respective
      plugin author.

   g) Use the Software or its source code for any purpose that would harm
      the safety, security, or accessibility of end users.

4. CONTRIBUTIONS

   By submitting a contribution to this project, you agree to license your
   contribution under the same terms as this license and you confirm that you
   have the right to do so. Copyright in contributions remains with the
   contributor, but the copyright holders are granted an irrevocable,
   worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute the
   contribution as part of the Software.

5. PLUGIN AUTHORS

   Plugin authors retain full ownership and copyright of their Plugin Content.
   Listing a plugin in the Software's registry does not transfer any rights
   in the Plugin Content to the Software's copyright holders or to users of
   the Software beyond what is necessary to install, update, and uninstall
   the plugin as intended.

6. NO WARRANTY

   THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
   IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL
   THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY,
   WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF,
   OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE
   SOFTWARE.

7. TERMINATION

   Your rights under this license terminate automatically if you violate any
   of its terms. Upon termination, you must destroy all copies of the Software
   in your possession.

8. GOVERNING LAW

   This license shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with
   applicable copyright law. If any provision of this license is found to be
   unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
