I have been looking into ways to do this. There are tools already that can change your GDID and there's even this script that claims to disable it entirely: https://github.com/yegors/deGDID

But all the "solutions" or workarounds I've found don't work consistently and/or have pretty big down sides, like broken functionality and issues with Windows licenses.
