Anonymizing ultrasound images #39

Description

@UltrasoundInsights

(Please forgive any faux pas, this is my first time providing feedback on GitHub)

I am trying to use the RSNA anonymizer for ultrasound studies. When I anonymized the files, I noticed a couple of issues:

  1. It changed the color of the entire image from black/white to a bright green/purple any time there was color doppler on the images. For some studies, it did this to every image, even when the image did not contain color doppler data. It seems to only do this when DICOM tag (0028,0004) Photometric Interpretation = RGB. Please let me know if there is something to investigate.

Examples of color-changed images:

  1. Anonymizing pixel data also removes measurements. Is there anyway to keep them while still anonymizing PHI? Or is it that it's removing any numbers or numbers?

Thanks for your help!
