Hello,

I started a new game on 1.2 experimental (pc - steam). When loading this save I get: System.IO.EndOfStreamException : Unable to read beyond the end of the stream.

Can you help?

Hi,

I haven't yet added support for the 1.2 branch of the game but suspected already breaking changes to the save file format. In the near future I don't think that I will have time to update the library, but I will do it except someone comes first with a PR.

If someone would like to offer help, I could quickly share my knowledge how to get it done in (probably) a few hours.

Im building up some internal tooling for myself and was wanting to use this lib. Sadly doesnt work but I found a typescript one that works. I could triage with that one in the meantime and see whether I find the cause? If I do, happy to raise a PR ;-)

This is what Cursor made based on the fixes in other repos (etothepii4/satisfactory-file-parser and GreyHak/sat_sav_parse);

I had claude give it a crack, same as Denxo took the eto typescript lib as a reference. Apparently there are some breaking changes in the 5.6 UE release.

Just gotta go through unit tests etc and make sure I document things for you to take over again

PR is up, i added some unit tests and a few saves. I keep testing while I go and so far its pretty robust. I will add a few more thigns like node purity in later PRs. And probably also savegames for unit tests.

sorry not very active on discord i joined but haven't opened it ever since. Probably easier to chat here on github
