/display print QoL: Card Alignment/calibration tool + center-across-disabled-gaps (AGPL-tool behavior emulation) #282

Description

@WilfordGrimley

Owner-directed feature candidates (2026-07-21), emulating BEHAVIOR observed in an owner-provided screenshot of an AGPL-licensed proxy-PDF tool. PROVENANCE: behavior emulated from screenshot/description only — no AGPL source consulted, per docs/upstreaming/license-provenance.md's patterns-only posture; reimplement from this written description.

  1. Card Alignment Tool: a printer-calibration flow — generate a printable alignment/registration test sheet, user prints it and reports/measures offsets, tool derives per-printer offset corrections applied to subsequent PDFs. Directly serves the pending ET-8500 borderless dimensional test (D5/D6): the calibration sheet IS the empirical overspray/offset measurement. Persist per-printer profile (composes with the deck-persisted color calibration Deck-wide color calibration for PDF output: full CMYK channel control + brightness/saturation/contrast #270 — likely one "printer profile" concept).

  2. Center Cards Across Disabled Gaps: when a card slot is disabled mid-layout (e.g. 3x3 with a dead middle slot), pull the remaining cards inward toward symmetry instead of leaving them pinned to outer positions. Requires the disabled-slot concept on the sheet (visible in the reference as per-slot toggles) — scope that concept first.

Both sit behind the #266–268/#275 queue; design pass (Quorra) before implementation per standing workflow. The spacing-control half of the same screenshot is already designed (D19).
