Code of Conduct

Our Commitment

JarvisCore is maintained by Prescott Data and built with the community. We are committed to keeping this project a welcoming, professional, and constructive space for everyone, regardless of background or experience level.

Expected Behaviour

All participants in this project — through issues, pull requests, discussions, or any other channel — are expected to:

  • Communicate respectfully and constructively
  • Give and receive feedback professionally
  • Focus on the technical merits of ideas and contributions
  • Be patient with contributors at all experience levels
  • Acknowledge and learn from disagreements rather than escalating them
  • Represent the project and community positively in public spaces

Unacceptable Behaviour

The following will not be tolerated in any project space:

  • Personal attacks, insults, or disrespectful language directed at individuals
  • Sustained disruption of discussions or contributions
  • Publishing private information about others without consent
  • Conduct that a reasonable person would consider unprofessional or unwelcome in a professional setting

Scope

This Code of Conduct applies to all project spaces managed by Prescott Data, including the GitHub repository, issues, pull requests, and any official communication channels. It also applies when an individual is representing the project in public spaces.

Reporting

If you experience or witness behaviour that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact us at:

Email: info@prescottdata.io Subject line: "Code of Conduct — [brief description]"

All reports will be reviewed and investigated promptly and confidentially. We will protect the privacy of those who report issues to the extent possible.

Enforcement

Project maintainers are responsible for clarifying and enforcing these standards. They may take any action they consider appropriate in response to a violation, including a warning, temporary restriction from participation, or permanent removal from the project.

Attribution

This Code of Conduct is adapted from widely used community standards for open-source projects.
