[Docs] Does Konsave save any private data?

I have a public NixOS config in which I've also added an exported .knsv file, to automatically apply my theme anywhere I am. Assuming I haven't manually added any private data into the directories Konsave takes data from by default, could there be, in theory, any private information contained within the export? Keys for VPNs, saved networks, clipboard history etc.?

Hello!

Assuming you haven't manually added any sensitive data (voluntarily or not), by default konsave exports all the following files for each path (this is also assuming your desktop environment is KDE, in any other case konsave doesn't provide any default configuration):
For path "~/.config", will export all folders/files inside named:

For path "~/.local/share/kxmlgui5", will export all folders/files inside named:

For path "~/.local/share", will export all folders/files inside named:

• plasma
• kwin
• konsole
• fonts
• color-schemes
• aurorae
• cons
• wallpapers
• yakuake

For path "~/", will export all folders/files inside named:

• .fonts
• .themes
• .icons

Most of the defined paths are for programs regarding the personalization of the desktop environment, so at first glance it shouldn't contain any sensitive information.

However I feel that with the list (extracted from "conf_kde.yaml") I have provided, you should review the paths to make 100% sure you are not exporting anything you don't feel comfortable with.
