Narrow android device click area issues #1

Description

@Dark-Griffin

I am on a Galaxy S21+, which has a narrower screen than the iphone or usual mobile device. I tried playing version 4, and found a couple of UI issues so far:

  1. the pokemon party member button (pal/buddy) click area is all the way on only the right edge of my screen. That small strip is the only part that opens the party member stats. The rest of the image doesn't respond to taps, only a very narrow strip on the right of the screen, just before the beveled edge.

  2. Upon catching a pokemon, my party screen now only can list the starter or the new pokemon, the other is missing entirely. I think also the partner starter was missing when I first started, because the Pokemon screen was blank. I at first assumed this is because my buddy is up top but now I am not so sure. It shows my tepig buddy if I first visit, with no sign of the other one. But if I sort by name or combat power instead of order caught, I see the ferroseed displayed and my tepig is now missing from the list. Only one shows at a time. Either way, they both do not seem to respond to hold or tap to view stats.

  3. There does not appear to be a way to choose what pokemon I use in a raid. I only admittedly have ferroseed and my buddy. But I would think tapping the slots should ask for putting a different one in a slot? Probably a similar issue to the click areas not working.

  4. I have exactly 200 stardust, and the level up for 200 stardust button is lit, but tapping it does not appear to be costing me stardust or leveling my tepig partner. I managed to level him to 3 by rapidly tapping the button and praying some of the taps would respond. I am unsure why this is not working, as the UI itself seems to be highlighting when my finger is over the button. Perhaps actual click response is split from the graphical response?

  5. When viewing help, I get a scroll bar for the text. However, tapping to scroll will also forward the tutorial text. Meaning none of the text below the scroll bar can be read properly. In other words, tapping on the entire screen will forward the text one prompt, even though the arrow to click for next is down on the interface corner.

  6. As a bit of feedback, is it possible to choose our starters or have some control over what we begin with? While their stats might not keep up since it's the first one and all, I still think it would be very cool to be able to pick our favorite partner mon to start with.

I've included screenshots of the pokemon inventory and the assistant interface from my phone resolution.

I will say even with the errors in UI, I had some fun walking around and going on an adventure with tepig. I hope this can be made to work on my phone in the future, it has lots of potential and I love the way it's a stripped down of the other game. 👍
