Environment data

Steps to reproduce

Open PowerShell (ConsoleHost / Windows Terminal).

Navigate to a directory (e.g. PS C:\Users\PC\Desktop\api_new_automation>).

Ensure the cursor is positioned at or very near the top of the console buffer.

Press Ctrl+V to paste clipboard contents.

PSReadLine throws an exception and breaks input rendering.

Happens immediately on paste; no complex input required.

Steps to reproduce

Expected behavior

Pasting text using Ctrl+V should not throw an exception and should insert clipboard contents normally, regardless of cursor position.

Actual behavior

System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Actual value was -1 (Parameter: top)
