After Effects frozen, plugin doesn't load

I am using Adobe After Effects v26.3:

When I install PopcornFX v2.24.4 (27058) Editor and the PopcornFX AfterEffects Plugin v2.24.4 (27072), After Effects is frozen here:

I've looked through my AE Logs and can't find anything. Could the build number be an issue? What are some other things I can check for?
