Mist not appearing after rain

Mist doesn't appear after rain. I tried tried changing the spawn condition to "Always" and "During Weather" but neither of them showed fog. I don't know if it's an intended feature, but the only time I have seen fog was after clearing out a large area of dirt in a survival world.

I have this issue as well, even on the latest version, with the mod installed client and server-side.
The mist does not occur in multiplayer, ever, regardless of settings. But it works in singleplayer as intended.

The issue persists on the latest beta 10.
